Huss & James — Craft Meets Vision
Two complementary skill sets, one shared standard of excellence.
Huss
On-the-Tools Master Builder
Nearly 40 years of hands-on construction experience, from London's most prestigious luxury homes to North Cyprus villas. NHBC certified, Huss leads every project on the ground — making sure each detail meets the standard he and his late father built their reputation on.
James
Property Developer & Business Lead
For the last 15 years, James has developed property across France and Belgium — from the Loire Valley, Dordogne and Normandy to Brussels and Flanders — including the full restoration of a period French chateau and other large-scale undertakings. From heritage renovations to ground-up developments, he built the 365 group around international standards, strong client relationships and an eye for ambitious projects.
Now in North Cyprus, James brings that international experience and business acumen — strategy, structure and client relationships — that turns Huss's craftsmanship into a smooth, professional service for every client.
"During the COVID years, Huss joined the 365 group founded by James — combining decades of UK building craft with international development experience. Today, that partnership is the engine behind every 365 Build & Design project in North Cyprus."
Restoring a French Chateau
Before North Cyprus, James spent 15 years developing property across France and Belgium. The centrepiece was the full restoration of a period French chateau — a project taken on from a tired, weather-beaten shell and returned to its original grandeur.
The work covered the whole building envelope: re-roofing in traditional slate, rebuilding chimney stacks, lime-pointing and repairing the cut-stone facade, restoring shuttered timber windows and dormers, and reinstating cast-iron rainwater goods. Inside, the team saved and relaid herringbone parquet, repaired lath-and-plaster ceilings and cornices, restored the original fireplaces and staircase, and quietly modernised the heating, wiring and plumbing behind heritage finishes.
Outside, terraces, gravel courtyards, boundary walls and the formal gardens were brought back, along with outbuildings converted into guest accommodation. Every stage was run to conservation standards, with local artisans and specialist suppliers coordinated on a strict programme and budget.
